Refund and Returns Policy
Our Refund & Returns policy has a 30-day return period, from the date of receipt. After 30-days, unless there has been a prior arrangement, confirmed in writing, no refund or exchange will be offered.
All items/products/goods must be:
- Returned within 30-days.
- Be unused, undamaged & in the same condition as when shipped.
- In the original packaging.
Some items/products do not qualify for our return policy. These include:
- Perishable goods (food, flowers).
- Newspapers, magazines and/or book with obvious signs of use/damage.
- Intimate or sanitary goods.
- Hazardous materials (flammable liquids or gases etc.)
Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Some health and personal care items
- Cosmetics where the seal has been broken (health and safety regulations)
- Personal grooming items, unless still in a sealed box/packaging.
HOW TO CLAIM YOUR RETURN
Please provide “Proof of Purchase” by supplying a receipt (proof of purchase), in your name, when making your claim. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer as this will delay the process and may result in the item being returned to us beyond the 30-day returns window.
Occasionally, and for specific products, we may offer partial refunds. Please review the below as a GUIDE ONLY. Our list of products is extensive, and it would be impractical to supply a complete, and ever changing, list.
- CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
- Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery, at our discretion.
On receipt of your returned item, and one of our Team inspected the item, verified the Order, the Item, the date of Sale and the condition, you will receive an email confirming our receipt and notifying you of the outcome of our inspection (the approval or rejection of your refund request).
If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment method/option. The time it takes for the refund to be transferred back will be subject to the payment method, and your country of origin (time zone), however, we will endeavour to process approved refunds as quickly as possible. In most cases, your confirmation email will state when to expect your refund to be processed and received.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund within 7-days of being notified of the refund expected date, please first verify with your financial institution, that there has not been a delay on their part. Next, contact your credit card company and/or payment facilitator (i.e. PayPal), there may be a delay on their side, and always allow 3-5 business days for as transfers to reach your account.
If, after checking with your financial and/or your payment facilitator, you still have not received your refund 3-5 business days later, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org quoting your Order Number Credit Card Number & one of our friendly Team will be more than happy to assist. Please also ensure you note in your email any information passed to you by your financial institution and/or your payment facilitator.
We offer no refunds on Sales Items. Faulty Sales Items should be claimed under the Manufacturer’s Warranty per Consumer Protection legislation. Please refer to the Manufacturer’s Warrant Policy.
We only replace defective, faulty Items. Defective & Faulty does not include DAMAGE done to the product due to careless, incorrect, improper, or inappropriate use of the Item (not in accordance with the design & purpose of the Item or as stated in the Description and/or Manufacturer’s Manual).
Exchanging the same item can be arranged by emailing: email@example.com & supplying us with the Sales Order & Item Description.
Items sent as GIFTS will not be issued a REFUND. Gifted Items returned will be processed in the same way as regular Sales Items, however, the Gifted Party will receive a “GIFT CREDIT PENDING” for the value of the original purchase price (must be able to be verified), with a Gift Certificate sent once the Item has been completely processed.
Shipping costs do not form part of the REFUND. Any costs incurred by the Site will be deducted from the refund and any shipping costs incurred by the customer, will be the responsibility of the customer only.
Return Times will vary depending on the customer’s location and other factors beyond the control of Zeddmarket.com.
For expensive or fragile items, we recommend trackable shipping and insurance.
